I have a 'large' single room in a modern flat in a characteristic 1930s private block in popular Hackney (Clapton, Zone 2) - £330 available NOW! - bills not included except for water rates and service charge.

The flat has broadband internet connection, is well looked after, clean, light and comfortable. Let for 1 year minimum (academic year and summer).
Very close to public transport. Train link to central London is quick and easy via Liverpool Street (central and circle line). Bus routes (Day and Night) stop outside the flat.
It's a great flat and you'll be sharing with 2 other students (1 male, 1 female). It's a perfect place for a student who wishes to experience London in a culturaly rich area for art, music, fashion, eating out, socialising and the like. Popular social areas such as Shoreditch, Hoxton, Brick Lane, Hackney parks, galleries and markets and Stoke Newington are close by, via train, bus and foot.
